  For many years my family has made Sunset Beach our yearly vacation destination, finally this year we made time to eat here. Waited over a hour to be seated although there were at least 4 empty tables, apparently because we had 6 in our group we had to wait on the only table that seats 6. I guess it was too hard to put two tables together when clearly there was enough room. From beginning to end we were there 3 hours and the shrimp in the pot was so overcooked you could not peel it and so tough had to chew it like beef jerky. I may be from Ohio but I know seafood and cook fresh shrimp several times while on vacation I would be embarrassed to serve what they did, also 2 in my group ordered the mixed seafood pot and the shrimp in it was just as terrible and one pot was missing the potatoes and sausage the waiter tried to say it didn't come with it and we had to remind him that the other pot had it he forgot we ordered 2. In the end the manager gave us 20% off wow what a bargain to leave hungry he even saw all the food not eaten 20% and another order of edible food would have been better that was not even offered. Will never step foot near the place again!!
